Students worked together with their big buddy using leaf manipulatives to sort, count and pattern. Students started by counting the foam leaves then sorting them by shape, colour and size. They used the leaves to make a variety of patterns such as ABAB, AABBAABB, ABBABB and AABAAB. Students also read a simple book titled Leaves to their big buddy.
