Snow Much Fun

Students enjoyed using snow with chalk, paint sticks and our mud kitchen. They made a variety of creations using their imaginations.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Students handed out Valentine’s to show appreciation for their friends. All students were excited about their bag being filled to the brim with goodies and treats.

Journal Writing

After the Terry Fox Run, students coloured a cartoon of Terry Fox in their journal. They used crayons to colour the picture and add a background. Most students ran 1 or 2 laps around our school field.

Brentwood Buddies

Today was our farewell trip to see our Gr. 10 Brentwood Buddies. Our big buddies were enrolled in a children’s literature class where they learned about young kids and books. As part of their course, they created a personalized book for their little buddy. It was a huge success! It’s wonderful being connected with another school in our community. Thanks to Karen Hedquist for making this happen.

Mud, Sand & Balloons

Mud, sand and balloons is a recipe for a great day outside. Students enjoyed the mud along the field line, as well as exploring movement with balloons. They created sand pictures by drawing in pencil or glue and sprinkling sand on top. All in all it was a great morning.
